Fall has finally arrived in the Indianapolis area. As my wife says, “Sweater Weather!” For me, it’s time to walk around the exterior and interior of the house with my clipboard bringing back the days of when I was a home inspector. It’s time to prepare for Winter. The exterior basics include:
- Clean and Stow the Mower
- Remove Garden Hoses From Faucets
- Drain the Sprinkler System
- Seal Air Leaks
- De-Gunk the Gutters
- Eyeball the Roof
- Check the Furnace
- Prune Bushes
